Two Easy Ways to Purchase

Buy how you want when you want. Vision Equipment offers two easy ways to transact: Webcast Auctions (pre-bid and real-time bidding online) or Hybrid Auctions (Timed Buy Now, Make Offer / Webcast Auction).

 

Webcast Only Auctions

 

Vision Equipment Webcast Auctions Bid from anywhere in the world with an internet connection and compete in real-time against other online bidders.

Vision Equipment, in conjunction with Proxibid’s online platform, Proxibid LIVE!, makes it possible for online bidders to bid competitively against other online buyers. A Proxibid representative, or a representative from the auction company, operates the software and serves as a conduit between the bidders. Buyers can use the message center to ask questions about the auction or specific items.  Not available during the webcast auction? No problem. Simply enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for an item, and Proxibid’s dynamic “Auto Bid” function will bid on your behalf up to the maximum amount. The Proxibid system will notify you if you become outbid.

 

Hybrid Auctions

 

Vision Equipment Hybrid Auctions Select Vision Equipment Events will be conducted in our Hybrid Auction format.  Purchase items you want, when you want, with the flexibility you want using the following options.  Buy Now or Make Offer options will be available up until 24 hours before the event.  After that, those options are removed, and the remainder of the lots will be sold via Webcast Auction on the specified date and time.

 

Buy Now Want it now?  Lots in our Hybrid auctions are available at a fixed price, for immediate purchase. Simply click the blue “Buy Now” button, pay the amount listed, and the item is yours.  Once purchased, the transaction is completed using Vision Equipment’s secure payment engine.  The item will remain in the auction until payment is made.  After payment is received, the item will be removed from the catalog, and one of our customer service representatives will contact you to make arrangements for shipping or customer pickup.

 

Make Offer On Vision Equipment Hybrid Auctions, buyers and sellers can negotiate over the price of an item. Simply click the orange “make offer” button on the individual lot page.  Your offer will either be accepted, or a counteroffer will be suggested (all through email).  Once a price is agreed upon, the transaction is completed using Vision Equipment’s secure payment engine.   The item will remain in the auction until payment is made.  After payment is received, the item will be removed from the catalog, and one of our customer service representatives will contact you to make arrangements for shipping or customer pickup.

 

Hybrid > Webcast Auction Want to take a chance and wait to purchase at auction? Buy Now or Make Offer options will be available up until 24 hours before the event.  If lots are not purchased through the Buy Now or Make Offer process in our Hybrid Auctions, they are then converted to the webcast auction format where you can bid on them from anywhere in the world with an internet connection and compete in real-time against other online bidders on the specified date and time of the event.  Pre-bids are also available at this point. Simply enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for an item, and Proxibid’s dynamic “Auto Bid” function will bid on your behalf up to the maximum amount. The Proxibid system will notify you if you become outbid.

 

Auction Terms & Conditions

Online Auction Buyers Premium : 20%

 

Sales Tax : 7% - Sales tax applied to invoice total, including Internet Premium.

 

Participation Requirements: Valid Credit Card required for bidding approval

 

Payment Options: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, PayPal

 

Payment Instructions: Buyer agrees to make payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) and the entire balance will be charged immediately after invoice is received. Merchandise Invoices will be sent within 1 hour of end of auction. If you are exempt from paying sales tax, please contact Cheryl Heard in our office to receive proper forms to apply for exemption. Shipping Instructions: Vision Equipment can prepare and arrange shipping of purchased items for a fee Please contact our shipping department for general shipping and handling information. Buyer agrees to be responsible for the removal and shipment of purchased items from the auction location within 3 days of sale day.

 

Preview Date / Inspections / Guarantees & Times: Inspection dates: 1 day prior to sale by appointment only unless stated otherwise. It is a visual inspection only and testing will be permitted under supervision of auction personnel. We strongly recommend buyers to inspect items prior to bidding. Buyers shall rely entirely upon their own inspection and information and bid based upon that judgment solely. All merchandise is sold “As Is” and “Where Is” without warranties or guarantees of any kind.

 

Checkout Date & Times: Buyer agrees to be responsible for the removal and shipment of purchased items from the auction location within 3 days after the auction is concluded.
