Description
Using four fixed speeds, operators of the Hobart HL600 planetary mixer can prepare various food types, from mashed potatoes to cake frosting. Its bowl accommodates 60 quarts, and it swings out so employees can add extra ingredients. For safety purposes, a bowl guard offers a layer of protection between the user and the unit’s blades, and it doesn’t let the mixer operate if the bowl is out of place. This bowl guard is made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
The Hobart HL600 all-purpose mixer has Shift-on-the-Fly™ controls to let users switch between various speeds as needed while the unit is running. Its soft-start agitation technology changes the speed slowly so ingredients don’t sling out while shifting to a higher speed. Once the settings are adjusted, the unit can automatically remember the last set time for making repeated batches.
